3 Tips for keeping your room clean

So we all know cleaning is the easy part, right? Okay, but cleaning and cleaning and CLEANING is not fun. I mean somethings never stay clean, like the floor or the pictures. But what about your closet or your dresser? Are they always neat and organized? Probably not. Because I know mine don't stay that way! But it's actually pretty easy to keep stuff neat.  Here are a few of my ideas for keeping stuff nice and neat!

                                                          No. 1    Putting Stuff Away
Let's get to the point here. I don't always put my stuff away but if I can make it a habit it's a lot easier.  I just have to think everyday,  "I need to put all my stuff away. Like I left this out yesterday I should probably go put it away before it gets ruined or lost."  Never, NEVER just toss it in your room or in your closet. Because that's what we're trying to avoid here. If you don't have a place for something make room for it! That's just one way to get things cleaned up without having to spend hours doing it later.

A place for everything, and everything in it's place.

                                                   No. 2  Pick It Up
Every one to two weeks  check your dresser or your closet and make sure everything is nice and neat. Refold stuff if you have to! Add boxes for socks or things that you have a lot of. If you have toys or something that you want to keep find a really big bin or box and label it and just stack them up! It's a lot easier than having stuff every where or trying to find something.  You'll know where everything is!

No. 3 Make It A Habit
Make it a habit once a week to sweep your room. I normally dust my room about every three to four times a year. (yeah......) But my room doesn't need as much dusting as it does sweeping. I do lots of crafts in my room so I have lots of little pieces of paper etc. all over my floor. So my room needs to be swept a lot. Another good habit is making your bed every morning. It not only looks nice but  you actually have a nice place to sleep, not just a crumpled mess.

                                                                     Here's my bedroom.

Hope you liked my tips. Tell me if you tried anything!

I miss you

I really do miss you but I know that you are in a better place,  And you can finally see,  And if you can see my dog right now would you tell him hi for me,  But I know that I love you and you love me. I miss the way you laughed at your own jokes, The way you made the fire crackle,  And how your voice went wild when you told a story, But I know that you are watching from above, And I know that you are smiling down at me, I really do miss you Papaw. I can't wait till I can see you again, And I know that you are probably running all over the place, Smiling as we try to become great, Like I said I really do miss you. I wish you could be with us this Father's day Papaw. But since you can't I thought you would like this. You were always telling us to sing a song for you and Mamaw. Please tell Buster I said hi. I miss you                                   ...

Pocahontas

Hello All, Yes it's that time of year again. School Time. In case you don't know every week, (until school is over) I will be posting a book report about what I am reading in school. So let's get started!                                                                                 POCAHONTAS  Four hundred years ago, on Chesapeake Bay Virginia, there lived a courageous girl named Pocahontas. She was the favorite daughter of Chief Powhatan. Even when she was little she wanted to explore. "The Brothers" were going on a trip to spy on the white people, who had just landed on Chesapeake Bay. Pocahontas had hidden in the bottom of their canoe, covered by a blanket with a little bag filled with popcorn and berries. When "The Brother's" found her they were very angry and took her bac...
