Sarah Plain and Tall

Hey guys! For my birthday last year my Grandma sent me an aduio recording of Sarah Plain And Tall. This year for school I have to read Sarah Plain And Tall. So I just listened to the recording that my Grandma made. Are you ready?! Anna Witting was baking bread one spring morning. While her little brother Caleb  was watching and asking questions about their Mother who had died several years ago. They were having fun together when Anna looked up and saw Papa coming in. He told them that he had placed an ad in the newspaper for a wife. And he had received an answer. Her name was Sarah. She told them that she was plain and tall. She lived in Main and had a cat named Seal. After sending letters back and forth for a few months, Sarah said that she would come to visit. If she liked Papa and Anna and Caleb and their house, she would stay. She was coming on the 9:30 train and she would wear a yellow bonnet. Finally a week lat

Happy Birthday - Selfie Sunday

Hey Guys! What's up?! A few days ago my cousin had her birthday party at Bay Beach! We left after Church and went to Culver's for lunch. Then we headed to Bay Beach. Bay Beach is a really fun amusement park. There are a lot of fun rides!                                                                    #slefiesunday #swings                                  Elise didn't want to go on the scat so she took pictures instead. The scat is my favorite ride at Bay Beach. But sadly no one else's, so we only went on it once.                This is the Bay Beast they just added it last year. I didn't go on it the first time because I was too scared. But Elise forced me to go on it the second time.......... I liked   LOVED IT! Silent thank you to Elise.                                 There is only one roller coaster at Bay Beach. And that's the Zippin Pippin!                                The scrambler

Plain Girl

What's up  guys?    Hope you all are having fun this week because I sure am!  I've been reading a book called,"Plain Girl". So lets get started! Esther was a plain country Amish girl. She had never been to school although her Mother had taught   her how to read and write at home. Her parents had been forced to let her big brother David go to school. David had taken "steps away" he had rode in a car and he wore buttons on his shirts. One day he just left. He told Esther that he was leaving. As she watched him go, she cried a little. Now it was two years later and the police had just stopped at Esther's house and told her Pa that Esther must go to school too. So Esther got ready to go to school. Her Mother made her some new clothes. Her Aunt Ruth (who had come to live with them) helped out too. A month before school started Esther (who shared a room with Aunt Ruth) woke up to a bright light shinni
