Hi guys! Right now is so busy.  I started cross country on last week.  On Tuesday our coach told us that is was going to be a fun day.  Hahahaha ha (If you can call hill repeats fun that is.)(Never trust a cross country coach when they say something is supposed to be fun.) But anyway, our first meet is on next Thursday at Amherst. Isaac tried out for soccer.  He really wanted to make varsity.  He kept telling us that he thought he would only get JV. But, he found out last week that he made varsity!!!! A Letter to Mrs. Roosevelt

Hi Gang! This week's book report is..........(drum roll please!) A Letter to Mrs. Roosevelt. So lets get started! Margo Bandini lived during the great depression. One day her little brother Charlie tried to stop a fight that broke out during recess. He got kicked in the knee. Everyone thought he was going to be fine but later that night his knee turned purple and he couldn't walk. So they had to take him to the hospital. The Doctor told them that Charlie had to have an operation or else he would never be able to walk again. Of course they told the doctor to go ahead with the operation. The operation was a success but Charlie was so weak that no one thought he would live. But he did and when he finally came home it was a few days before school started. Once school started Margo and her friend Rosa were kept busy but they still had time to look over Margo's post card collection and talk about "Eleanor

Pocahontas

Hello All, Yes it's that time of year again. School Time. In case you don't know every week, (until school is over) I will be posting a book report about what I am reading in school. So let's get started!                                                                                 POCAHONTAS  Four hundred years ago, on Chesapeake Bay Virginia, there lived a courageous girl named Pocahontas. She was the favorite daughter of Chief Powhatan. Even when she was little she wanted to explore. "The Brothers" were going on a trip to spy on the white people, who had just landed on Chesapeake Bay. Pocahontas had hidden in the bottom of their canoe, covered by a blanket with a little bag filled with popcorn and berries. When "The Brother's" found her they were very angry and took her back to her Father, Chief Powhatan. Her punishment was that she could not eat or be spoken to until "The Brothers" return. One day when she was playing "hide-f

Heritage Hill

Hello everyone! What are you all up too? School has already started so my Mom took me in a Field to Heritage Hill in Green Bay on Tuesday. We wanted to go to the school house but we missed the first class and had to wait for the second. We went to the fire station for the bucket brigade instead.                              This is the fire wagon they used in 1872.                                        This is the fire station and the guy who set up the bucket brigade. For a bucket brigade he set up some flags that were used as the fire. Someone would fill a bucket with water and hand it to the person next to them and so on till it reached the fire and the empty bucket was handed back down the line.  Then we went to the farm house where I got to.... ....card wool...... .....and wash laundry! Then we went to the barn. Then I scraped the bark off of pieces of wood. After that I went and did the egg race.  I had to run to some barrels turn around and come bac

My life/fam

She is always taking us to where we need to go and reminding us how much God loves us.                                                            Love you Dad and Mom My sister Anna is the sweetest girl alive. She got married two years ago to Ethan Pritchard. A year later they had Haven Grace, the cutest little girl ever. On January 7th, Haven is going to be a big sister!
